The machining center is equipped with two standard pneumatic zero stops, defining a 4 mt working area, with the possibility of doubling the effective working length.
The liquid-cooled electrospindle, rated at 7 kW in S1 duty and featuring an HSK-F50 taper interface, allows machining operations on the profile at any angle between 0° and 180°.
Profile clamping is ensured by four compact clamps, designed to maximize machinability on the three faces of the profile and allow the loading of relatively short parts as well.
Two features enhance this version: enlarged clamp supports up to 300 mm and special adjustable clamp pads that clamp the workpiece with maximum care, avoiding pressure on unsuitable or overly flexible areas of the profile. Positioning along the X-axis is a key feature of these machining centers. Thanks to the movable carriage, the clamp is hooked and positioned with maximum precision, ensuring optimized placement according to the machining operations on the profile and maximum safety against possible collisions.
As an option, the clamps can be supplied in a motorized version, each equipped with an independent motor.
The P105 machining center features an 8-position tool magazine, fixed at the center of the machine base, with an integrated tool length measurement system. Optionally, this machine can be equipped with a second tool magazine, allowing management of up to 16 tools in total.
The P105 is equipped with a full enclosure and lateral safety tunnels for machining long bars. The moving gantry machine concept also makes it possible to achieve large working capacities with relatively compact machine dimensions, offering the operator excellent ergonomics during part loading and unloading operations.
